This is a 'rescue' tree. It's very small but is covered in very small (about 1.5 cm across) white flowers. A neighbour was clearing a plot of land of fruit trees. We have 4 which we're pretty sure are apple trees but this one is a mystery. Last year it did produce fruit but they were like a berry of some kind. I'll try and get a close-up shot of the fruit this year and maybe one of you will be able to identify it.
It’s pretty. I’ve seen this blossom on our regular woodland walk. It’s out around this time each year. Unfortunately, as we can’t go there just now, will miss it.
