More Shots of Whitby

I thought that this collection of shots really sums up Whitby with it's iconic features. The bridge is the famous swing bridge, the arch is a whalebone arch, through which you can see the ruined abbey, the statue is Captain James Cook and the bottom right photo shows the ruined abbey. There are 199 steps up to the abbey. We parked the car near the abbey so we had no choice but to walk down the steps and back up again. Chris' knee couldn't cope with the steps so we left him at the bottom while we parked the car (with instructions to find a coffee shop) and again when we collected the car.
Fav! We love Whitby. So many photographs which just couldn't be anywhere else.
