A few days ago I posted a picture of a bush peony. It's correct name of course is a herbaceous peony. We do have three tree peonies but this is the only one one big enough to flower. The flowers are enormous. This year it's better than it ever has been before. We brought it with us from our previous garden in mid Wales but I think it prefers Herefordshire.
Beautiful. The huge flowers are gorgeous. It looks a lot like one of mine in colour and shape. I'm glad it made the move so well.
Sometimes I feel sad that they only bloom once, and then disappear till next year but then, maybe, that makes us appreciate them more when we do have them. I'm eager to see your others when they do bloom.
