As with my yellowhammer pictures, most of them have been taken with the birds on the ground so I was pleased to get this one of the bird in a tree. Shots like this will be more difficult once the leaves are on the trees.
Lovely clear capture of Mr Blackbird and I see the buds are bursting on the tree so, as you say, this kind of shot will be more difficult in a couple of weeks!
