The waterfall is only switched on for a couple of hours a day but the birds seem to know when. For the two hours that it's on there are more birds in the garden and around the pond than at any other time.
I did ask why the waterfall is only on for 2 hours a day but by the time Chris had finished explaining I'd lost the will to live so I still don't really know.
