Two friends and I went out for dinner for a belated birthday celebration. I hadn't taken a photo yet and thought I'd follow the advice of so many who have said to just carry my camera with me. This sculpture caught my eye because of the flow of the lines and the color. The photo is a closeup of the lower third of the sculpture -- I liked the contrast of lines and color against the bokeh's coloring.
I love the combination of the parallel lines with the organic flow. The color is rich and warm. I tend to photograph "whole" sculptures but your comment makes me realize that I need to frame images in my mind in a bigger variety of ways . . . even in parts. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the comment. I did play with color a bit since there was a b&w challenge yesterday. But I couldn't part with the colors in the end.
This is lovely - a fav for me. I also need to get better at small details - I tend to try to fit too much in, but this is a great example of how part of a picture can make a stunning photo!
