Today's word was 'antique' which got me thinking about these playing cards encased in what look like two leather bound books. My father had a pharmacy and surgical supply store, opened in 1948. He gave annual holiday gifts and I've saved the few that I had (another is in this photo - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-01-23). This one was probably from the 1950s. His first name was Jack, thus the choice of cards to show. I'm sure he would be surprised that I'd kept these all these years.
hey Taffy... i'm guessing your get pushed partner, Zav, may have given up on 365... it's been almost 3 weeks since they posted a photo and they don't appear to have responded to last week's push... and their partner from last week appears to be mia as well as they haven't posted since feb 14th...
so - while i may be jumping the gun a bit, how about i pair you up with @eloisestapleton who is currently in search of a partner...
@northy@eloisestapleton I'd be delighted to partner with Eloise. I'm already following her so that will be fun. Eloise, let me know if this works for you as well and I'll send you your challenge by tomorrow evening (Tuesday).
Thanks so much!
