Turning to another Chicago treasure for today's main image - the Cultural Center which for decades was the site of the Chicago Public Library. This was taken from the second floor, looking out toward Michigan Avenue. I liked the contrast of curves and angles, as well as the small bit of mosaics seen throughout the interior.
Thank you for your wonderful response to my reluctant selfie taken in the subway. You really made me feel like I'd done something special which I hadn't expected at all. You've made my day!
Love the architecture. You can even see the design on the arches on the outside of the window. Great capture. I wish we had beautiful buildings like this where I live.
Taffy you have a wonderful eye! The lines and curves in this shot are terrific! I'm loving your series of architectural details the past several days.

What a great selection of POV, it really makes such strong and interesting shapes. I love that you can see multiple images through the window too. Fav and congrats on the TP
@francoise I remember being so overwhelmed there as a child. The "new" library is even larger, and has a beautiful skylight on the top floor, but nothing like this grand old building.
