I know right where you are. I saw this from the bridge and from the water. Love those crazy buildings. I head back in the 80s a car drove out of it into the river!
I have always enjoyed those circular buildings... so rhythmic and unusual, compared to the straight lines and edges of the other structures. Enjoy the sun! :)
Another one of your excellent cityscapes that I enjoy so much. You've got such a great eye for the wonderfully varied architecture of your city. The contrast between the ice-cream cone stacks building on the right and the straight lines and right-angles of the other buildings makes for a very interesting photo.
I know exactly where you are standing! I love those round buildings they look like corn on the cob to me. I remember seeing the cars parked inside up high - amazing architecture! Fabulous b&w image Taffy with a gorgeous sky! Fav! I hope the sun shines for us!
@sangwann We have to plan around the time the sun comes through the 'canyons' created by the tall buildings. It just means going out a little earlier and it's challenging for the golden hour shots. But the shadows can be great!
@graemestevens@gigiflower Thanks for starting my day here with a laugh! And good question actually...I think that a good architect looks around to see how his or her building fits into the whole, and that is visible in some of the buildings. But I don't know which order these were built and suspect the Marina Towers (round ones) were more of a 'look at me' statement they were making.
i have never seen a scenery like this, with so many skyscrapers.
