@ukandie1 and I did an aquarium excursion which provided great practice for using cameras in poor lighting, with unpredictable subjects, and spaces crowded with little ones because it was Illinois residents fee-waiver day. Amazing we have any photos at all, but a terrific opportunity to practice panning and manual settings!

The black really does enhance this indeed. Sounds like a challenging setting - you did well to even keep the camera out under the circumstances. Threre is some serious sparkle going on there.
