Daphne is a gorgeous white English Retriever who usually looks light and fluffy and very well put together. I ran into her with her owner and as he and I talked, she took the opportunity to go where she was not supposed to -- playing in the big waves. But she really seemed to be trying to convince us she had been a good girl and would never have gone in the lake without permission ("Ignore those Footprints!"). Too much tell-tale evidence though that wasn't in her favor.
@maggiemae She’s definitely a retriever — golden retriever in looks but snow-white when she hasn’t been in the lake. I think her breed has English, white, and retriever in the name but am not sure of the order.
I believe she is a Golden Retriever. They come in 3 colours, white, Golden and a rust colour (can't remember what its called). We have a golden Golden Retriever called Ellie and we live in UK. They are lovely dogs. Super photo. Ellie would look just the same, all wet and bedraggled as they love water!
