Rust and the City

I like this photo for the four columns, from the closeup of rust on the fence to the building in the far distance that is only visible by the darker uppermost floor. Taken on Morgan Street looking east. I took several of the rust alone as it was striking, but thought this provides a better sense of the context.
Great color!

This is a striking photo! Great eye to see the four columns. They are all unique but work so well together! Well done, Taffy!

Yes, I was admiring the four verticals before I saw yo mention it. The rusty pole is super, I may have to hunt it down myself...:)

@anwan easy to find...morgan street, north of Harrison, just south of the entrance to the blue line by the UIC parking lot -- have fun! LOTS of rust around here!!

@pflaume Thanks Lisa -- I wasn't sure through the lens of whether it would work. I appreciate your comment.

@karenpics Thanks Karen, for viewing and commenting!

Love the rusty column! I do like that you gave some perspective to go with it.

Yes I love the repeated vertical columns, and the contrast between the rusty old column and the clean newness of the others :-)

There is something rather mesmerising about this Taffy.

@seanoneill Thank you! When I saw it on full screen, it almost looked liked I'd layered it -- I hadn't expected to have such distinct focal points.
