A comment from Ann ( @olivetreeann) about my schedule led to this photo being posted. In my very public angst over my short-term 1 hour daily 365 diet until I get in front of some big work deadlines, she suggested I could save myself some time if I had hubby cook. So, this photo is a shout-out to Jim, who not only cooks 90% of our meals, but this morning as a surprise brought me the bright flowers and a choice of donuts to keep my spirits up today. Table is a little cleaner as ALL the legal front matter for the proposal is now done (yay!!). And the donuts were great (I chose the chocolate of course). And he grilled salmon for us tonite. And he called me to come outside with camera and head up to the roof as the sky was pretty amazing (saving those to perhaps use tomorrow). Hence, the photo's title.
@jyokota hee-hee...an obsessive/addictive personality joins an addicting website...does so when work is slow and develops what feels perfectly reasonable...real world interferes...clash!
@darylo@taffy -- I think Taffy hit it right on the nail -- and now, there are days and even weeks when taking the photo is all I can do! The problem is when getting too far behind on such weeks, it's so hard to find a chunk of time to "catch up" on uploading and get back on course. Working on it!
@jyokota@darylo How true! This was the worst I've had over the last few days, but I realize as soon as work becomes normal again and I'm teaching in the fall, it's going to be a lot harder to keep up. But the end is in sight on the proposal, one chapter to write, and then it's summer and Beaver Island - yay!!
