Every night since we've gotten here, I've been hoping for a reasonable sunset and more than anything, getting the sun's flare as it set. I've been reading about how to catch a flare and tonite, it worked! I used a very small opening (F29) and slow shutter speed and ta-da! But by mistake i had the ISO at 800 and should have put it at 400. Thank you for visiting!
@rachelwithey Thanks Rachel! It's been a good few days for photography which is always a wonderful dilemma to have!
@ness50 Thanks Vanessa! Over the summer, with every night a possibility, it's interesting for me to consider what makes a sunset 'worthy' of posting. I'm rejecting ones this year that last year I would have been excited about based on what I've learned from studying the wonderful ones others have posted.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann, for your wonderful comments today! I hope your computer issues are all settled now -- and your smart card is working well. I didn't know you could lock a smart card and accidentally did that last night. It took me a while to figure it out today -- just sliding a little button on the card. Amazing how frustrating technology can be when it doesn't work as it's supposed to.
