This was quite the scene at the zoo last weekend. The lions weren't the least bit shy as they had their romantic moment one cold but sunny winter afternoon. Their golden colors in the collage looked great but I couldn't put it in my b&w album, so had to chose whether wolves or lions got to be the color shot in the overflow album. The photos were taken last week, processed today as I work to catch up.
@jsw0109 Hahaha! Yes, you've noticed what we noticed. I have about three of those 'oh, whatever' shots and he is totally oblivious. It was pretty funny, actually.
Lions sleep so much, so it's so neat that you saw them interacting and that you captured it so nicely. I love that you put it in a series- seeing it in a series makes the "roar" photo that much more wonderful
@dolphin@virtualbrownie I laughed to myself as well when I was doing the collage -- the contrast in their two expressions throughout is pretty funny. I know I am anthropomorphizing, but it struck me more in looking at the photos than when I was there in person. Thanks for sharing in the fun!
