Fiddleheads

Spotted this walking back from the beach and used my 50mm to create a closeup so that I'd be participating with macro-March at least in spirit.

Beautiful photo, I love all of the spirals and the texture! Have you ever eaten one? I saw them all over the markets in Canada but sadly couldn't find any on menus at the restaurants I went to. I'm curious what they taste like.
