Giraffe was teaching his weekly geography class (word for today = map) using the ostrich egg globe of Africa. All the students were pretty engaged until Danbo showed up with snacks. Then, it was mayhem. I caught this just before Giraffe caught sight of Danbo, as did the others. What was interesting was watching them collaborate to get the shells off the nuts.
For Danbo and Friends theme 3 - food.

At first I thought these were cockles! Then you said shells off - no wonder they were squabbling! They must have very good fingers but I can't see them!
I let my students eat snacks whenever they want provided that: It is after 9:30 (otherwise,t hey skip breakfast to eat some junky old snack at school), that they don't eat more then one, and they can keep working. Danbo needs to take a lesson from them!
@espyetta I'm guessing your kids then don't go wild with the idea of food. You have such a sound logic in the way you talk about what you do with your class. Parents must just beg to get their kids into your room!!
I like the colours and all the reflections though.
Great capture and so much fun!
