Given how much I dislike doing selfies, I was relieved with Marelize Dry's @ounooi get pushed challenge to me to do a 'creative' selfie -- giving me some room to figure out a way out of an actual photo of myself. I always enjoy other's shadow shots, so on my way to the workshop this morning, with the hay bales throwing long shadows in the morning light, I had a little detour to create a hay-bale-shadow-selfie. The wind was blowing making for some rather odd shapes.
@888rachel I think it was @sailingmusic Myrna who I first saw do this. I think it was the first 5 night stand challenge back in 2013. When I got the get-pushed challenge to do a selfie, somehow it came to mind. Hers was a very long shadow and I don't remember the background -- maybe a beach?
