Wonky Blinds

More with my new toy. Time to return the borrowed fisheye, and now have one of my own. Just practicing tonight but this also shows how 'off' the hanger of the blinds was on the right window here. Same problem in my study. Another phone call, another email, another workman returning to do the job correctly. But progress nonetheless!

I do sometimes wonder about workmen and the blindingly obvious errors they make without fixing. My friend has had no end of issues with her brand new house! You expect things to be perfect and it is so disappointing when it isn't :(

It's everywhere! I can't tell you how often Jeff has to deal with the poor workmanship of other contractors when he goes to install tiles. In fact last fall he worked on two homes where the first installation was so bad, the homeowners had to tear out the first remodel and start all over again. I can't begin to tell how much money these poor folks lost! Glad yours is getting sorted out though.

Sometimes it's just best to do it yourself! I just don't understand how workmen can leave something so obviously wrong! Does he think you won't notice? Duh!
