@louannwarren We used to put out feed on a fairly regular basis Lou Ann and we would have up to perhaps 50 birds coming down for a feed in the afternoon. They were taking over. We have now managed to whittle it down we we only provide a small amount of food to a couple of very friendly pairs of birds. Occasionally, others will drop in. The problem with the lorikeets is that they are real bullies and chase all the other seed eaters and honey eaters away. It is a real juggling act trying to get feed to the King Parrots for example.

@terryliv 50 at a time?!!! Our bullies are Blue Jays, they dive bomb cats, dogs and other birds. So no matter how pretty the lorikeets are, if they are bullies I sure don’t blame you for trying to keep them away.
