The lady who we were renting our cabin from told us a particular spot on the Broken River where there was a good chance of us seeing a platypus. We thought "Yeah, I'll bet" but took her at her word and off we went. Very excited to spot one almost immediately. Bloody fantastic.
For O/S 365ers, these unique animals are quite rare and very difficult to see in the wild.
