Grand View Point Overlook

Day 10: Canyonlands NP, Utah

Canyonlands National Park is the largest national park in Utah and was formed by the Colorado and Green Rivers which have carved the Colorado plateau into three distinct districts. The confluence of the two rivers is in the top right
Fabulous capture of this huge vast landscape.

It truly is huge. After living there for six years, our son has yet to go through the Maze District. It's a half-day's drive away.

@janeandcharlie Hi Jane, I really thought our tour did not do justice to Canyonlands and we could have spent more time there and been shown some of the other areas. Also it was very overcast when we were there and in fact the rain bucketed down on our way back to Moab which didn't help. The downside of doing an organised tour as we did.
It was a real pity we didn't get to meet up with Robbie. Next time :-)

Awesome place. I visited Canyonlands this spring along with Dead Horse Point on the same plateau. We spent 4 or 5 days in Moab. It is a place that you can return to over and over and not get tired of what you see.
