Sydney Red Gum by terryliv

Sydney Red Gum

Went for a bush walk in Lane Cove National Park yesterday. The dominant large tree in the park was the Sydney Red Gum, Angophora Costata.
Great perspective.

@corymbia Hi Amanda, Was this always Angophora or did have a name change from Eucalyptus also?

I like this pic with its canopy of leafy branches, the beautiful blue filling in the spaces, the patterned and textured bark leading the eyes upwards... a long way!
