One of the most spectacular scenes the other morning occurred after the sun had come up and went under a large cloud bank that had formed. From time to time, a large hole would appear in the cloud and the sun would shine through onto the top of the fog layer.
It happened a number of times and each time there was an audible gasp from the assembled photographers followed by a renewed frenzy of camera clicks.
I had a number of shots similar to this to choose from and had a long argument with myself as to which one to post. I still have no idea if this was the best.
