A Foggy Sunrise - At Last the City

I am sure that this is the sort of shot that most of us went up to Mt Cootha to get. However, after the brilliant display put on by the sun, it was a real anti climax when it finally happened, some 2hrs 15 mins after I first arrived.

I couldn't believe it when I asked someone the time and they said 8 o'clock. In all I took just over 300 photos and there were many other variations in the combination of sunrise, fog, clouds, buildings and even flocks of birds that I could have posted. It was absolutely brilliant experience. I was on a high for ages after it - still am to some extent
