My Drains Couldn't Cope

A couple more shots from the deluge on Thursday. One of the advantages of living on the side of a hill is that we get our own waterfalls.
The shot on the left is water that has flowed across our back yard and then down the side of the house, down the front lawn and then the footpath and eventually the road.
The shot on the right is our own bridal veil falls on the steps leading down to the pool on the other side of the house.
Once again, this was after the rain had eased off.
Don't bother commenting - just telling a story.

Could have been used as a slippery slide for the grandkids!

Terrific capture of the deluge. Good to know that you were not severely impacted. So many have lost everything.

Wow, you did get a lot of water flowing through. Did it go into the house? We are well positioned in our street, and have remain unscathed.
