Brindabella River by terryliv

Brindabella River

Actually it's Brindabella St out the front of our place yesterday. We had almost 400mm over two days with the bulk falling between lunchtime Wed and lunchtime Thu.
The rain had eased off quite a bit when I took these photos so at its peak, it was worse than this. The steel man hole cover in the centre of the street in the bottom photo was constantly being lifted off by the pressure in the underground drains and then making a clang clang clang as it dropped back down.
