I had just finished taking the photos of the magpie which was at our kitchen window when I noticed this stupid Lorikeet hanging off one of the palm fronds at the window. He was holding on with only one foot and would screech out every now and then. I quickly took a couple of pics with the small lens and then went and changed lenses and he was still there. Took some more pics with the larger lens and I was just starting to wonder if perhaps he was actually entangled in the frond (I had been watching him for a few minutes by this time) when he just let go and took off. They are crazy birds.
