What's This Stuff?

Very strange phenomena today. Skies were grey, not blue and water fell down on us. Maybe someone can enlighten us as to what was going on.
I used the flash to try illuminate the raindrops. It sort of worked.

I agree with Margaret, I think it's called rain! Good day to visit the home brew shop! You've sent that rain to Victoria today- except for our S/W corner! We just have a fine mist :)

Great capture, as Denise said, we have that "rain" stuff falling here today too. The bonus is I didn't just wash my car, washing the car is usually a sure fire way to get some rain.
I also like the layers of this shot as the rain gets thicker into the distance, I'm sure the garden will be loving it.
