In the Netherlands we have a few places where dunes were formed in the ice age. We try to keep them as tree free as possible. This is one of those places a 10 minutes walk from my home and on a autumn sunday very popular for a stroll with the kids or the dogs.

As Katerina said - a great image for the theme - and I love the small group under that dominant tree - they look like they could be a tribe from long ago....
