Etienne @etienne was kind enough to suggest that a previous image of a runner on the Story Bridge had possibilities as a composite showing two runners. He had tried the two runners running in opposite directions. I tried several combinations - Etienne was correct - I liked this one best!
@etienne Hi Etienne - this was the one that I thought used the geometry of the supports etc to the best advantage. Having the runners going away from each other also seemed to work well with them helping to expand the image. Just as you suggested! Thanks again for your idea. Cheers Rob
Love your processing on this. The bridge brings back happy memories for me, when I first arrived in Australia 38 years ago I lived in a house underneath the Story Bridge on Kangaroo Point!
@thedarkroom@robz Thanks for your comments and for following up on my suggestion. This composite provides a cool graphic image, because the starting picture was excellent. Now that you say it, I understand that the reason why the image with the opposite runners works well is actually because that expands the image.
@judithdeacon Hi Judith - I couldn't help wondering if you have been back recently - that whole area - on either side of the river- has changed so much! Even the Storey Bridge Pub is quite trendy these days. It must have been such a handy spot to live when you first arrived - close to everything. :)
