Fossicked Find by thedarkroom

Fossicked Find

I've been visiting a breach in the seawall where glassware and ceramics are being washed out from it. This bottle was the other side of the barbed wire, and I was so diisapointed to find it was broken.

The sea and soil have made the glass milky and irridescent. Not sure whether to keep or not?

More of my prospecting finds (I must stress I dont excavate for these, they're on the surface!) are here and @wakelys is uploading her finds today too.

If you have a way to keep it that will not damage it’s already fragile condition then by all means keep it! I love the locals up POV of your photo

Although I love the story and your finds, I’d say no for this one. (You wouldn’t want to cut yourself on that!)

Great Shot and cool find. Like how it’s broken, it shows age. Nice reflection too.

This sure made for a great shot, I'm on the fence about keeping it. My first instinct was its broken so chuck it but its also interesting

Well done!

A good way to show off the condition of this bottle. If you ask me, and you did, I'd pitch it. Too much other good stuff.

I would be afraid of keeping broken glass, but I like the collection on your page.

Well I couldn't say whether to keep it one way or the other. Sure made for an interesting image at least!

I think it will go! It has served its purpose, and today I found an intact ink bottle ( I think!)
