We’ve had a lot of those torrential rains this week. Incredible that some people still don’t believe that the climate is changing. This is the roof of our bicycle shed and in the back the green roof of my neighbors loggia. We hope to do something like that next year. This was for no theme week @jacqbb
Torrential rain, floods, scorching heat, horrific fires, devastating droughts -in just a few years we've had them all over here - and yet our appalling politicians refuse to acknowledge and plan for climate change. Even many of our farmers are now making individual efforts to change their practices to be less damaging to the climate. Climate change is real and it's here.
Your image is a simple example of what is happening. :)
Sorry for the rant - this just struck a note with me. :)
Love the way you caught the rain. Here it is fire. It has now burned 1.5 acres of California. Earlier in the week it was 1.1 acres. The air is not even safe to breathe and we are having to ration water. I don’t know what it will take to believe climate change is here.
@robz Thanks for the ‘rant’ Rob, it’s unbelievable that politicians don’t recognize the global problems. At the moment it’s water here but because our country is small that too is a problem.
