@thedarkroom she is BIG - this is an orb and she would be around 3cm big, but the males are so tiny you can hardly see them, but there will usually be a handful of them waiting for her to start eating and rush in to take the opportunity to mate, hoping she won't notice as she will eat them if she does. my fav spider for sure

@shutterbug49 and these are SO sticky, you really don't want to walk (or ride the bike) into one! They easily catch big cicadas, dragonflies and butterflies
