A cold front was sweeping through the area and I headed out to see what I could see to the west. I arrived at Pungo Ferry Landing Park just in time to see the wall cloud at the front of the front crossing the North Landing River. After I got about half a dozen pictures (which included the Pungo Ferry Bridge) I got back into my truck just as a light rain started. I hadn't driven a half mile when the wind started suddenly blasting across the landscape. It was sustained at about 35 MPH / 56 KPH for about 10 minutes before it slowed to about half that speed.
