The Missus and I went to watch the sunset at our usual place, which is near the end of the runway at Chesterfield County Airport. Just moments before the least of the uplighting of the clouds disappeared, a jet took off, offering me this shot (which is SOOC, BTW).
The jet is a Cessna Citation CJ3 and according to FlightAware.com, it was headed to Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, about 725 miles away. It made the trip in almost exactly two hours, flying at an average 460mph at 40,000 feet.
