The Missus and I went to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and followed the path away from Back Bay and strolled along the beach of the Atlantic Ocean.
This semipalmated sandpiper was taking a bath on the warm ocean waters. It was the only one of the dozens there that was running into the surf, instead of away from it.
