Eye of the beholder

Just a window on the landing of my son’s house. As I passed it I noticed the sun shining on next door’s house and highlighting the bricks, so I took a quick shot.

I’m not sure if I’ve properly understood the eotb challenge, but I’m going to enter it anyway and hope someone will tell me if I’ve got the wrong idea.

I like the angle of the pov, which provides a gradation of light from bottom to top, and I also like the colour of the wall light. Certainly in the eotb spirit, I would say.
