Update 05/2019: Year 3 begins! I'm living in Bremerhaven near the North Sea since October...
In Japan, we pull out the round part and roll and roll them gently between our fingers until all the seeds can be carefully rinsed out. Then you can blow through the opening and it makes a funny, rubbery sound.
