Last friends

Nicole @nicolecampbell asked what everyone is reading (here: https://365project.org/discuss/general/29943/what-are-you-reading) so I'm sharing my nearly finished book: Last friends by Jane Gardam. I heard that she is quite famous in GB for some time already but her Old Filth trilogy was only recently (2015-1016) translated into German. I love how Gardam interweaves characters with each other and with history - it's very much worth reading. I'm a little sad that I have to say goodbye soon (50 pages left).

I hate having to say goodbye to a book I have enjoyed reading. One of my favourite authors, Jenny Colgan, keeps the characters alive by writing follow on stories.
