I know a lot of 365ers like to read. I love a good book and am always looking for recommendations. I have decided to post photos of the latest book I am reading and to include a synopsis of the story. I am tagging my photos - thisbook
I would love to see what you are reading and what you would recommend. If you have a favourite book and post a photo of it please use the tag - thisbook
I would be posting pictures of mt cellphone attached to my car. I do audio books everywhere I go in the car. I love Diana Gabaldon and am waiting for a new book. Think I'll go check it out.
i did a whole month on books i've read when i started 365 back in 2011. it was fun to find a suitable shot everyday to pair with the book. https://365project.org/summerfield/365/2011-08 you might find a book or two that you haven't yet read.
I'm very naughty and tend to have more than one book on the go at a time! At home I'm reading The Essex Serpent by Sarah Penny and at work I have When Breath becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, and I have a small heap of books to waiting to be read. Not sure I could do a Vikki @summerfield and do a month of my books in a photo! @joansmor I need to ive audio books a try, but am worried I'd crash the car as I might concentrate on the spoken word not the road!!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I actually do better at paying attention when I have a book going then when I don;t. My mind wanders over work that needs to be done. And a book is even less distracting than family of friends talking.
@joansmor oooh me too. i have read Outlander books several times and and on my second trip through the TV series whilst i wait impatiently for book 9 and the third TV series. I usually am reading at least two other books on my kindle and phone too. As soon as I get home (Monday) I will find a 'real' book off the stack on the bookshelves to share.
@kiwinanna She has a book of short stories coming out June 27th. I have read most of the Lord John too. @nicolecampbell Ok it is a rainy day and I have some audio books I copying into my Itunes. So I'll play
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - I probably have a month of books on my book shelf waiting to be read :) I will look up the books you are reading, they have interesting titles
@kiwinanna - looking forward to seeing which book you choose
I spotted this on the discussions page and thought I would give a plug for one of our 365ers Hazel @quietpurplehaze
Over the last year or two Hazel has been posting excerpts of her father's diaries as a PoW during World War 2 on her 365 page. She has finally been able to get the diaries published and here is a link of her posting yesterday.
@onewing - thanks for sharing this Babs and @quietpurplehaze you must be so pleased to have had the diaries published. I will follow the links to learn more.
Babs, thank you so much to you for this. And for so much support you have given to me in other ways from across the ocean recently.. You are a star. xx
I just finished a beautiful book, written by Keith Stuart: A Boy made of Blocks. It's about the way a father’s relationship with his autistic son is transformed by their shared adventures in a virtual Lego-like world. A wonderful book!

I have read the diaries, sections at a time, and found them very moving.
I am so pleased that they are now available from Amazon in book form. Today I have ordered my copy.
