Driven in part by envy of other peoples wonderful shots of colorful flowers and the need to see something other than grey clouds I went somewhere I have never been before in my nearly 20 years of living in Chicago, Lincoln Park Conservatory. It is a small conservatory, but it did not disappoint.
The hard part was deciding which pic to post! This was shot in their orchid room, sadly I forgot to note what kind of orchid it is.
So creamy and gorgeous Ukandie! Or can I just call you Kandie? It's so great to get motivated by this project. Thanks for sharing a bit of your day at the Conservatory.
I've just looked through your first month of 365. It's not that they're bad but at the same time comparing them to your work now shows how much your photography has come on. An inspiration to the rest of us to keep going...
@jasperc thanks Jasper! This is my second thank you, my first was rather long winded so I deleted it. I thank 365 for the improvement of my photography, the discipline of taking a new shot each day in my first year was a challenge, but well worth it. You were among some of the first people I followed, love your work and am inspired by your current project.
