I have given up on posts being always artistic, though I hope that I will return there at some point...for now I feel that posting a 365 mundane shot is as important as ever!
So for today I give you my wimpy (for now) little aero garden on the left, a gift from my daughter...I am growing genovese basil, thai basil, mint, dill, thyme and lavender...it is only two weeks into the growing process! The aero garden to the right is my daughters (that was a gift from my son's girlfriend to him, but that is another story), that includes a very aggressive dill that she has no idea what to do with (but I do), a healthy mint plant, some curly parsley and an ailing basil plant, along with a transplanted thyme plant in the small pot in foreground...watch this space I hope that next week things will look more balanced!
I love mine! A marjoram plug which was included in the original setup has turn out to be a new favorite. Who knew that basil, cilantro, sage and garlic butter would saute together well. Hope you enjoy yours.
@joysabin I am new to the Aero Garden world, at this point of time loving seeing the growth and wondering why I did not have one in the fall, I have spent a small fortune on herbs over the winter!
@ukandie1@taffy -- Mine is like yours on the left, the black one, and I started about the same time you did but my plants are teeny at this point. But seeing Nik's gives me hope that mine will grow more some day. How long has that one been growing? I'm now more inclined to get a salad one that I have been eyeing, since it looks like we will all be home for awhile.
I just posted my Day One photo: https://365project.org/jyokota/365/2020-03-26
and it was planted March 14 -- two weeks ago, yet mine is not nearly as healthy as yours!
Oh! I just got one of these for grandson for his birthday next week. After looking at it I was contemplating getting one for myself. I bought him the lettuce and cherry tomato pods. Even if he thinks it an odd gift (he will be 12) I know his parents are excited.
I just ordered a second one for lettuce. Same one as your little herb one. I figure I only need lettuce for one person so let's see how that one grows.
How's yours doing now? I just posted one to show that my dill is growing really fast, basil pretty well, Thai basil not more than a tiny speck, but the new lettuce one is growing SUPER fast and I think I can already eat some today!
