It has been a long and exhausting two days. After just over 900 miles of driving from Chicago to Connecticut we finally made it for my daughter's graduation weekend. We arrived into Connecticut earlier today and have spent most of the day with my son and daughter, after a delicious supper we are finally in our hotel room
When we started out I had an idea in my mind how I wanted to portray this journey, thankfully the long drive worked out perfectly however my photography did not. I shall learn from it. I cannot say I am proud of this post, but it has sentimental meaning to me.
For all of my friends I shall try and catch up with you tomorrow when I am not so tired.
Ho Ukandie! Pictures doesn't need to be perfect! You capture exactly what's a road trip are. I will do the same next week but I dont think my pictures will reflect the spirit of it as yours. Great job and I'm very happy that you share it with us.
Photography isn't just about perfection, it's about memories and capturing the moment. You've done that. Hope you have a great time, and sure you are so proud too
@daneau Thank you for always being so encouraging Marc. I strive to improve and get frustrated sometimes when I just don't get it, but you are correct in what you say. Have a good trip next week, I know your pictures will be a great reflection of you and your passion.
@carlt Thank you Carl. You are so correct I should not lose sight that pictures are also about capturing memories and moments, I chuckle to myself that some of the trip was as much of a blur as the shot of the Pennsylvania sign.
