@tabarlett Sorry for the slow reply, I am having trouble keeping up with commentating at the moment. The dice are sitting on a peace of clear perspex with a piece of black card underneath that, though I had to darken it considerably in LR. I want to get some black velvet because I have read that it absorbs light well and gives a better black background than other materials.
