This is the outside of the Thompson Center which houses the offices of the Illinois State Government, and whilst as a whole it is rather ugly from the outside it makes for some great abstract style shots. I have yet to shoot anything from inside, but I will as it has an interesting interior.
I am going back and filling in spaces for the month of April, but have decided to do it a day at a time so as not to clog up everyone's feeds.
Lovely lines and shapes. Is it easy to take photos inside? I find it hard here to get access inside, and there is no way they would let me take photos.
@888rachel Thanks Rachel. The entrance level and lower level are open to the public with stores, a food court, and an entrance to the cities train system, it is always busy. There is no middle to the building you look straight up to the roof, the whole thing reminds me of an alien space craft to be honest (not that i believe in aliens). I have seen people taking pictures when I have been in there and I can't find anything on google that say you can't so I am going to give it a try.
