Girl and Bike

When this young woman spotted me taking pictures she happily posed. I somehow think she is used to it. She was with a large group of bikers who were part of a parade.

This was her bike and she was riding it, despite not having a helmet on, for some crazy reason it is perfectly legal to ride a motorbike in Illinois without wearing a helmet.

It's legal in Illinois, too. I have a young friend who rides and sells bikes like these. He never goes out without a full kit of protective gear. Lovely photo, though!

Oh P.S., it's legal to ride without helmet (except for the first year you have your license) in my state too, Ohio, but I never ride without my gear.

Fantastic portrait! It is legal now in PA to ride without a helmet. Every time I see a person on a motorcycle without a helmet I think to myself 'They are really not smart'. Every time. LOL.
