Now my daughter is home from a semester studying in London we spent a lovely afternoon at some of her favorite spots. This is a quick shot of the flowers where we had lunch. I have been rather absent from 365 lately as we have been enjoying time as a family before my son heads to the east coast for his summer job and my daughter starts her summer job.
In my absence from 365 my ace membership expired, but I just payed to renew it so I guess I better start posting again. Thank you for all of the lovely comments on my last shot, I now need to catch up, if that is possible!
glad you've re-upped! (although I love seeing you on instagram as well). Hope you had fun with your kids. Sounds like a sweet and special day with your daughter.
must be strange your daughter being in England, or do you think of yourself as English still? have you kept your accent? sorry for all the questions enjoy your time together,,,
@jack4john A lot of questions, but I don't mind them at all! It was strange for my daughter to be in England, but as she was born there and moved to the US six months later it gave her an opportunity to learn about where she was born and she loved it! Do I still have an English accent? Well that depends who you talk to. I still get asked regularly about my accent here in Chicago, so I don't think I sound like an american, but when I go home my family loves to make fun of my accent...which leads me to the question of do I think of myself as Engilsh? Yes I do, Chicago is my home and I love this city (faults and all) but in my heart I am English and always will be!
