We are a hardy lot here in Chicago, but stands like this are only open in the months when it is not freezing. I have to admit I am not a big hot dog fan, but many in Chicago are and they are very particular about their hot dogs, Vienna Beef links are made in the Chicago area and on a Chicago dog you never add ketchup!
Today was the first day in a while that I headed out with my camera for no other reason than to take pictures, took a bunch of shots, but it is late so I went with an easy slice of life street shot!

Great candid shot! You have such a good eye for this kind of shot! I had my first Chicago Hot Dog at Wrigley Field and loved it! Only mustard of course! That made me laugh - such a funny tradition! Fav!
For this Mainer it has to be Schonland dogs - mustard and relish. Some of our truck vendors are open all year long. But we have a lot of stands that are only open in the summer.
