The Last Swan Song!

It has been a long time coming, but it is finally time to retire my Canon Rebel, but one last shot before I do. It has served me well!

A wonderful last shot, I got my old Rebel out the other day for some shots and actually quite liked it again.

Oh, poor Canon. I have a retired one in the cupboard too. What have you moved to? Lovely shot.

I like this... at least the Rebel is bowing out with great panache! I assume the XT2 has arrived?

A terrific way to say goodbye to your trusty camera. I hope it has a good home somewhere else!

This last shot has a wonderful musical feel to it. Fav!

Canon must be looking over their shoulders at the march of Fuji X! Mind, if you can still get shots like this perhaps you could hang on to it for a while. Do you have several canon lenses also ready for the retirement home?

So long and thanks for all the pics.

Goodbye Canon! Lovely last pic with it.

Are you full-time with your X70 or are thetre more cameras?

Also, I don't think I have replied which I apologise humbly for, to your questions about my travels to the US. I am flying straight to Minneapolis on Sunday so won't have time to visit Chicago. I decided to make sure I got my Visa sorted safely and with time to spare that I wouldn't go early. I could have gone in retrospect but I didn't know the US Embassy would be so quick processing the Visa.
Maybe next time..??!! :)

Also, are you coming to the UK and Norfolk?
I am away until the 10th October. Will you still be around?
September 19th, 2016
@stevecameras I am in Norfolk now, so would not have been in Chicago if you had been, ironically I fly back to the US on the 10th! I was pretty much full time with my X70, but have added the XT-2 to go with it.

Thank you @pistache @888rachel , I have gone mirrorless and have the Fuji X-T2.
September 22nd, 2016
@vignouse Thanks Richard, yes the X-T2 has arrived :)

@yrhenwr Thanks David. I do not have too many canon lenses. Just a nifty 50, and a Sigma 17-50mm that I used pretty much all of the time, along with the 2 kit lenses that came with it that I rarely used and are worth next to nothing. So not too heavily invested.

@ukandie1 Yes well will just miss each other! Oh well, another time perhaps. And yes I am also thinking of the X-E2. It looks like an amazing camera.
